5 Fashionable SS14 Outfits to Inspire Your Halloween Costume
5. Moschino/The Flying Nun
Every single look from Moschino's latest collection could inspire an outfit for a costume party; including an already accessorized cowgirl, bunny rabbit, minnie mouse and biker chick. My favorite look had to be this big bonnet nun ensemble because it instantly reminded me of Sister Bertrille, and The Flying Nun is a Halloween costume that I've always wanted to try.
4. Vivienne Westwood/ Frida Khalo
All the Vivienne Westwood look is missing is a true unibrow (and maybe switch out the high-top sneakers for something a bit more delicate).
3. Prada/ Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat
I mainly chose this costume because I wanted to share this majestic photo of Clay Aiken. The Prada interpretation includes an embellished faux bra so maybe you could be Josefina and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat.
2. Comme des Garçons/ Connect Four
This costume could be a really great DIY Project if you got a huge blue sheet and cut circles in it. So easy... and you can re-wear it as an avant garde piece!
1. Thom Browne/ Dr. Finklestein
Thom Browne's Spring show embraced the creepy and modeled itself after an insane asylum. Here is a YouTube clip for the full effect. I've seen quite a few Jack Skellington and Sally costumes out there, but this SS14 look will hopefully inspire you to dress up as the mad scientist from The Nightmare Before Christmas.
